    Default Action shooting ?

    Hi all,
When living in another area I participated in action shooting and now living in Armstrong county near Kittanning I'd like to get involved again.

Does anyone know if there are any action shooting ranges in this area?

    Thanks !

USPSA is really active in SW PA. Living where you do you are going to have to drive a littel to get to matches. The normal season is March through October. Local Clubs that shoot USPSA are East Huntingdon, McDonald, Clairton, Monroville-Pitcarin, Holidaysburg, Castlewood and Gem City.

A&S Indoor Range in Youngwood, PA runs Action Shoots through out the year on the first Monday of every month starting at 5PM.

IDPA is still shot, but I do not know what clubs still have matches.

There are several Clubs that shoot SASS as well.

If Cowboy Action Shooting would interest you, here is a link with map locations showing the clubs in PA. On the google map you can click on the locations to access links to each club.

Indiana Bow and Rifle still shoots IDPA, I believe. Otherwise, you have about 5 clubs shooting action -style matches within an hour.
