I shoot them with a typical 12 o'clock hold, and hit right where I want to. Done it with every size and caliber except the .357SIG models.

The manuals say they are set to 6.
Mine shoots POA, but I had thought that maybe it was due to the night sights being put on.

I was shooting a 25 yards. I had a guy there shoot 5 through it and it was doing the same for him. I fired about 20 rounds through my friends XD and the were all around the 10 ring in nice groups. I am going to try from a rest I never really shot pistol much but it I am starting to get into it more so it could be me. after I shoot from a rest if it isnt the gun I guess I am going to have to take pistol lesions. Thanks

My wife's XD also shoots to point of aim. In fact, it doesn't seem to matter much what she's shooting, it shoots to about the same spot. Speer Gold Dot 124 gr +P+, the 115 gr Remington FMJ they sell at Dick's, or the Federal Tactical Bonded 135 gr +P (which as of today has become her carry round), all more or less hit in the same spot. She's got the standard sights.

Just an update fellas I took it shooting on sunday and there was a guy there my dad knew he is really good with a 1911 so I asked him to fire a few rounds through my XD. He did with fantastic results he shot 10 rounds one round was out of the black at 25 yards. (he said it was his fault because the trigger pull was longer than he anticipated) So he was giving me some tips he told me to hold the gun up and dry fire it a few times and he would watch. Turns out with such a long trigger pull I was making the guns nose dip. I tried shooting it at six o'clock and I think i did better leveling the sites instead. I shot half a box of American eagle ammo and a half of box of green/white Remington ammo and both shot about the same through it.
I just have one other question will dry firing a pistol hurt the firing pin I was always taught never to dry fire a firearm.
