Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9
I got a Shield about 2 weeks ago, and just wanted to share my thoughts.
If you are looking for an easily concealed 9mm hand gun, the M&P Shield is definately one to consider. The gun is 6" long, about 4.5" high (including sights) and a little under an inch thick. It comes with a 7rd and en extended grip 8rd magazine, and retails for $449.99.
The sights are nice and easy to use, and the gun is quite accurate. I have run almost 400 rounds through it without any stoppages or failures of any kind. The 400 rounds included Winchester, Remington, Blazer, and Federal ammo, FMJ, and Hollow points. The gun is easy to control, with minimal recoil.
The trigger is probably one of the best out there, with a crisp and consistant 5-5.5 lb pull, and short reset.
The gun feels great in your hand, and is easy to carry all day.
They are hard to find, but if you can get your hands on one they are definately worth checking out...... its also available in .40 caliber
