IDPA @ Blue Ridge Cherry Valley - 11Nov2012
This was my 3rd IDPA match. Scores were posted last night and I came out with 1st out of 3 in SSP/Unc and I believe it was 14/31 overall
Not sure what was happening but I was having a hard time tracking the front night sight -- may have been the bright sunlight. Already have ordered a 10-8 U-notch rear sight and will have the fiber option front soon.

The clubs website is under construction, but you should find all relevant info at the link above.
OP - good shooting. Where are you shooting a classifier next Sunday? There is one at Somerset, NJ, but doubt you'd venture into the land of the lost with a gun. LOL

Just to be clear for other readers - you are restricted to loading 10 rounds in the mag for SSP division. The NJ mag limit is 15 rounds. Assume the OP is shooting something with a mag capacity >15 rounds.
I want to classifiy in CDP this weekend, then the only division I won't be classified in is SSR - but that is on the agenda also. Good luck next week.

thanks im more looking into what distance and ranges are available. steel on the ranges etc? icant find any of that. id love to find a range that allows steel and goes out longer than 100 yards with a pistol range that has incremental distances out to 20 or 25 yards.

Great club, great matches and great people... except, because of the neighbors you can't shoot until 1pm on Sundays.

You will not get that kind of distance at Blue Ridge. Ontelaunee Rod & Gun Club has pits for pistol and also ranges from 100-300yds. Also New Holland Rifle & Pistol Club has pits for pistol and rifle ranges from 100-600yds. Both great clubs and you can find their address on http://www.nepaidpascores.net/
