Default Like to join West Shore Sportsman Assoc

    Hello,

I would like to join the West Shore Sportsman's Association but it looks like there are two different websites with some conflicting info on them.
    www.westshoresportsmen.org and
    http://www.skywardthought.com/westsh...rtsmen/website

Any members out there who can point me in the right direction it would be appreciated. I am also interested if they do the NRA Basic Pistol course onsite.

    Thanks,

    Chris

We had contracted with skyward thought to build our website, but we ended that relationship. I guess they never took that page down from their test server.

www.westshoresportsmen.org is our website, and we have a membership application on it. If you don't know a current member, stop out and visit at the Clubhouse and I'll sponsor you in. I'm out nearly every Thursday night by around 7:30. Our club meetings are the last Tuesday of every month, 7:30 pm. except in May; when it will be the week prior.

No, NRA membership is not a requirement to join WSSA. But if you are a member, we like to know. It helps us with our realtionship when we pursue NRA grants for range improvements.

Members may join the NRA through West Shore if they like, and the Club gets $10 per new member joining through us, and $5 per NRA renewal.

I've attached a membership application to my post.

    Ken,

I have a couple of guys I want to talk into joining. What is the rule about taking any non-members to the club to check it out?

Non-members are permitted 3 Trial Visits before they must join the Club as Regular members.

Trial Visits are defined as a visit for any purpose other than participating in a WSSA sponsored match, activity, or training class.

Bring your guest(s) out, have them complete a yellow Temporary Member application which are located inside the front door on of the clubhouse. The form is fairly self-explanatory. Place the one half of the form along with $1.00 in the drop box; the other half your visitor retains. You must accompany your guest for the visit.
