Re: Thinking about SBR
Not to hijack this thread, but I’m looking to SBR one of my lowers too but I’m unsure how to go about getting it engraved. I want to get it marked before I send the Form 1 out just incase it gets screwed up in the process.

Re: Thinking about SBR
so should I use the people that no longer have websites.... or the guy that does hand engraving on shotguns...
the engraving I need is very simple and straight forward but supposedly has to be done in a specific size and depth... I am not looking for some artistic work... just someone set up to engrave guns for NFA purposes..
thanks anyway for your effort.. I had never thought to google it...
so anyway... does anyone know of anyone that does engraving for the purpose of NFA firearm identification... because I really dont feel like sending out the lower..

Look through more than the first 2 search pages. Or search this forum, I'm sure there are quite a few threads already asking the same question as you.

Re: Thinking about SBR
I strongly recommend Orion Arms. Ship your lower directly to them and you'll have it back in under 2 weeks.
I went with the front of the mag well engraving and unless you look for it, you don't even notice it is there (Orion will re-anodize to black after they engrave it)

Re: Thinking about SBR
I agree, I looked for somewhere locally to engrave my SBR but in the end it was easier to mail it to Orion, they know what they are doing and did a great job on my lower. The link posted above doesn't work, use this one.......

Re: Thinking about SBR
+1 for Orion Arms. They have done excellent work on multiple guns for me. I highly recommend them. Don't waste your time looking for someone here in PA, I've been down that route.

Re: Thinking about SBR
I highly recommend Ident Marking. They did an excellent job on my SBR AR lower and it was $45 + $14 shipping.
