Permanent-Resident Firearm Purchase
Hey guys,
Was hoping you could help me out here. I am currently a permanent-resident, have "green card" and would like to purchase a pistol soon. I was wondering if anyone had this experience? Do the same laws and requirements apply to US Citizens and Perm Resident?
I have not seen any language in the PA Laws I have seen regarding this, but wanted to double check if you guys had any tips or anything. Will I need to bring my "green card" to the store for the purchase?

Re: Permanent-Resident Firearm Purchase
Thanks for that info! Much appreciated.
Having been here in Pittsburgh since 2000, I dont understand the reasoning behind this, but it is what it is. I feel like I am more American than at least half of the folks born here;I didnt vote any Democrats hahah.
Thanks again.

You are correct. You DO need to be a citizen to vote. However, the OP did NOT say he voted. He only said he did NOT vote for any Democrats.

Re: Permanent-Resident Firearm Purchase
Well, you can always just go to the gun shop, make the purchase, and see what PIC says. Should be interesting.
