    Default Extended barrels?

I ordered a 6.61" threaded barrel for my G20SF. Not sure how I feel about the looks, kind of mixed feelings on this one. Thinking I might only keep this barrel in for when it's used as a woods gun.

I think it looks like poop, just my opinion.

I'm looking at maybe 8ish, 10ish percent increase in velocity, which is nice but man I'm having a hard time looking at it with that barrel. Not that the glock is pretty in the first place...

Maybe I'll order the long slide.

Careful, if you have an extended barrel, it just makes it easier to identify you.

Back in my day, we didn't worry about keeping our guns "pretty". Our guns were tools. We didn't care if the rich-folk in the city had shiny guns. They couldn't shoot the broad side of a barn, if they was inside. If we was to go hunting with a shiny and pretty gun why.... it might scare off the varmint! You can't rightly eat, if the critters get away. Heck, half the guns in our village were made by bob that blacksmith anyway. If extending your barrel gets more critters and it don't cost the farm, well that's the ticket! Like my father before me always said..... God hates the haters!

I agree. Gave you rep points for that. This glock has been function over form for me and I'm one who drinks from glocks are ugly cool-aid. However, they make a darn nice 10mm auto, so here I am with the only glock in my collection. But then again, part of me wants to try and not make ugly, uglier.

I had a LW conversion barrel for G23 that was stainless and had the wolfs head on it. Never liked the looks. Got a blind marked (the stupid wolfs head is on the bottom of the barrel lugs) and blued threaded barrel for my G17 and love it. Looks "stock."

Maybe some blueing or cerakote or something to darken the barrel would make it look better to you????

When I put the ported Fire Dragon barrel on my 220 it took a lot of getting used to. Of course the Fire Dragon doesn't extend out of the slide like a flagpole! If it shoots well, you will pay no attention to it soon enough.

You need to add a 33round magazine to balance it out a bit.

Put a silencer on the end of that. It's awkward but your choice. I think a long slide might be worth the investment.
