Build a private range in my factory

Hello All,
I'm new to the forum so I am not sure if this is the correct place to post this question but it seems like a good place to start. I currently own a large factory in north Philadelphia (65,000 Sq). The building is mainly concrete and brick, the floors and walls average 18" thick concrete. I wanted to build a private indoor range, personal use only however I am having a hard time finding information on local laws pertaining to private ranges. I am hoping to find someone who has a (legal) private indoor range who could point me in the right direction. Thanks

Philadelphia has ordinances prohibiting the discharge of firearms (including airguns) within the city limits. You can find the law HERE.

In addition, you should consider the health aspects of an indoor range--you should have air exchange system designed to cope with the combustion products. When I looked into this a few years ago the NRA had some useful technical information. I decided on that basis not to proceed with my personal indoor range, but you have a lot more space than I do.

Wouldn't your local zoning office be the best place to start? I am sure some rich dude living in the Plilly area has already put a pistol range in his basement. Your headache might be putting the range in a commercial building, it might lead to a different set of hurdles.

Imprisoned state senator Vince Fumo has a range in the basement of his mansion. Nice neighborhood too!
