Depends on prices. I actually have had a couple people ask me about benchmade so I might be into that let me know what you are getting.

I might depends on the knife selected and the final price. If someone makes a decision on the knife and the price I think you will have a better idea of the number of members interested. Someone will have to make a decision.

I am still negotiating a deal with the vendor. At this point we are offering:

Benchmade

Microtech

Sog

There are others, but they will be limited to supply on hand.

Want to gauge interest on this forum first. If not enough interest here, I will limit the GB to the other forum.

Why would it matter where you contacted the buyers if you are putting together a group buy. It isn't like pafoa has a physical adress and you would be delivering the knives there.

If I do not receive enough interest on this forum, I will make the GB info available on the other forum. My point is this.....I do not want to monitor two different forums and have to draft pm for each forum. Its a lot of work running one buy, not to mention having to run anothr buy on a different forum.

The models of knives have yet to be determined. The specific brands have been narrowed down to three, however, the vendor does have knives in other brands, but is limited to inventory on hand.

Once the decisions have been made, I will post the info here. The other forum happens to be The AK files. I spend most of my time running buys on that forum. I want to branch over to this one because its local to me. If there are enough local buyers to me, I can reduce shipping costs and make the buys even more efficient.

All of my GB's reach a conclusion. I always reach my goal and have yet to have a buy go south on me.

Setting them up takes time and hopefully works to most members benefit.
