Old Spanish .25 Cal
So recently my father showed me an old "Saturday Night Special" that my great grandmother had passed down to him. Its missed the recoil spring and action rod, and the the safety has been ground down over the years. With some internet research I found out that it was a Spanish copy of the Colt .25 caliber. The Astra Firecat looks very similar to the build of it.
I was not going to refurbish the pistol, but it would be nice to have it completely back together. Would the Astra firecat's recoil spring and rod fit this and work properly?
(Long time lurker, first time poster. Take it easy on me!)
I will work on getting some pictures of it.

Re: Old Spanish .25 Cal
Definitely need to see a picture. Here are a few links that may help you. I have the A80 and the A200 Firecat, myself. I don't go anywhere without at least having the Firecat in my pocket and 7 Speer Gold Dots. The HP's would not feed worth a hoot, but I corrected that via the 'Dremel reangle and polish' method.

BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.
