Default Bill to allow conceal carry and remove gun free zones in PA

New bills in Harrisburg could remove the gun free zones and allow teacher and administrators in PA to be armed. Please call and tell your reps you approve this laws.

Finally... something or someone with common sense. When does this go for a vote? I can't call or send anything until tomorrow...

    Quites from the article

Shira Goodman, executive director of CeaseFirePA, which advocates gun control, said Wednesday that arming teachers gives her pause.

As a parent, she worries about accidents in the classroom, but also about how students might be able to gain access to those weapons.

“I don’t think it is a one-step solution,” Goodman said. “Are you introducing a gun into a situation where it could do more harm than good?”

Goodman said more armed security isn’t necessarily the best way to prevent future school massacres. She said a gunman killed 13 people and wound 29 others in November 2009 at Fort Hood, an Army base in Texas with plenty of well-armed, well-trained soldiers.

Does anyone else remember the details of this shooting?????

Nidal Malik Hasan At approximately 1:34 pm local time, Hasan entered his workplace, the Soldier Readiness Processing Center, where personnel receive routine medical treatment immediately prior to and on return from deployment.

According to testimony from witnesses, Hasan passed up several opportunities to shoot civilians, and instead targeted soldiers in uniform. These soldiers were not allowed to carry personal firearms on the base due to military policy.

This terrorist specifically chose this part of the base because he knew they would be unarmed.

Correct. Funny how everyone leaves that part out. Only the ones who care to look farther will ever know that. That's the problem we have today.

That is crap! Military bases are more draconian than NYC or Chicago. No one is allowed to have a gun on post unless its locked in the arms room. That Muslim terrorist knew very well that no one was going to shoot back. No different than these school and theater shooters. Only MPs have weapons.

If it wasn't for a civilian cop there would have been more dead! This is the kind of BS disinformation and false logic these morons pump into the heads of other morons.

That's because he killed Osama and there is no more terrorism! If it was classified as terrorism, BHO would have mud on his face!

Military bases are "loaded gun free zones" unless you are on a range or training area. What an idiotic statement. But, the lemmings will buy it.
A Republic, if you can keep it.
