    Default Beavertown Gun and Grocery

Can you believe it? A grocery store that sells guns! I'll be paying them a visit soon.

It's 57 miles north of me. Not too far.

I just came home from visiting the shop. Its a small section with a bunch of bolt action rifles and a few revolvers (3-5). They do carry popular calibers (9mm, 223, 20-06, .38 spl, .357, .44 mag, 12ga, 20ga) but only about 3 boxes of each. Not many accessories other than slings and butt pads.

Overall I think its a great idea to combine both a grocery and gun store. Although I wouldn't drive out of my way to shop there (20 minute drive). Its great for the locals.

Passed it about 3 or 4 weeks ago when I went out that way with a friend to get a new basset hound puppy. Had to stop and take a picture or people I know would never believe it. Advertisement on the sign at the time was for turkey and ham and muzzle-loading supplies.

I just might have to drive up there for some goods.
