    Default Pistol Bayonet?

Is it legal(obviously not in Phily) to carry a gun with an attached bayonet, like the one KA-BAR makes? Is it practical, maybe not. I'd rather have a light attached to it, but would a knife on the gun be illegal?

IANAL but my best guess is if its a legal knife...why not?

Logic, unfortunately, is not always law.

I wonder how you'd holster it! Lol

Bad idea in my opinion...to me they are a novelty at best. You don't see any high end training facilities doing this and there's good reason.

An off-gun knife would be better IMHO.

Get one of those lights that use a laser pattern to blind an opponent. I think that would be better. Next would be a bright light or laser aiming device.

Bayonets work well with long arms because they are like a spear at that point and you can grip better for striking/slashing or running through (and parrying).

If they weren't illegal, trench knives would be awesome. The WWI knives were pretty deadly: WWI Trench Knife Pic

They are double edged blades threaded through brass knuckles with a spike at the other end.

I only bring it up as a novelty. There are more modern versions as well.

Attach a tri-rail and put three bayonets on it.
