Default So I just attended an Anti-Gun rally...

...and handed out some of PA Patriots fliers! Whee!

    http://philly.metro.us/metro/local/a...day/11984.html

Read about this today and only had 3 fliers on me, but I gave them to members of the press. I was also interviewed by the Urban Shooter blog. http://urbanshooter.blogspot.com/ and http://www.blackmanwithagun.com/
I couldn't stay for the entire thing, but the fear mongering and out-right lies were rampant.

Got a few scowls and someone asked me if I was carrying. I sort of just looked at them, given I was standing in the middle of the Philadelphia City hall courtyard.

The article you cite certainly makes an argument for joining the NRA.

Nice work; I'd give rep but I have to spread the love. And if those liberal heathens had any manners, they'd realize that asking someone if they're carrying is incredibly rude.

    Rep came your way...
A few weeks ago I printed out about 30 of Pa Patriot's flyers and keep them in a large paper clip in my vehicle... just waiting to come across something like this.
    Great job, sir.
"The rifle is the weapon of democracy. If guns are outlawed, only the government will have guns. Only the police, the secret police, the military. The hired servants of our rulers. Only the government-and a few outlaws. I intend to be among the outlaws." (Edward Abbey, "The Right to Arms," Abbey's Road [New York, 1979])
I have my rifle. Do you?

I emailed my state senator and representative about this issue asking them press for specific answers as to how a bill limiting the number of firearms purchases and/or reporting lost/stolen guns will have an affect on an already "rampant illegal gun trade." I also asked them to press for answers as to why people who are already disobeying the law in the "rampant illegal gun trade" would now, suddenly, start obeying the law. What good will it do to make something that's already illegal even more illegal with another law?
