    Default Sports Clubs

    Howdy,
Not sure where to post this..

Two years ago, I'd never held a firearm in my life. Went to a range with a friend who had a groupon because we thought it would be fun. I guess it was because here I am with my Glock 19, waiting on a new holster in the mail. Anyway, I've been shooting at a State Game Land Range but with winter coming I'm looking to move indoors. I'm in Pittsburgh and there are several choices around here as far as sportsman's clubs.
Here's the problem - I'm a Prius-driving, tofu-eating, liberal. My beloved is GOP, so I clearly don't have a problem with other people having their own political opinion. In fact, I enjoy friends teasing me for my hippy politics, and I love having in-depth, respectful conversations with people of various political stripes. However, I'd like to be able to make some friends where ever I join.
I'm sure each club has its own "flavor" - any thoughts? Suggestions? Places that I might be comfortable?
    Peace & love,
    Glock Goddess

This does not directly address your question, but you might want to check out this site: The Liberal Gun Club. Maybe someone there can help you out!

I don't see any problem here . Go to a gun range / club & shoot . You are placing too much thought on stereo types & image .

Public ranges, perhaps... because, folks mostly just go there to shoot. However, private clubs certainly attract individuals whose politics are right of center.
