Default A little curious of our members...

There is seemingly always going to be a debate about OC vs. CC. But that may be resolved some day in the near future.

My question becomes, of those who do not regularly OC, would you be more likely to OC especially once you get to your destination (say a restaurant) or the weather turns very hot; if OC becomes accepted at LEO level and in the view of the general public?

In other words, almost no chance of an LEO confrontation and you have a well-informed public and trained 911 operators to screen calls.

(Newbies, please note I am speaking hypothetically as the practice is legal but there is a backlash against it which is not lawful nor 'official'.)

ETA= I would definitely OC a lot more. I mainly CC. Seldom OC so far except for occasional comfort.

If it was more accepted i would OC more, i mainly CC, but i do not care if it prints, or if it is seen under a coat or shirt. I have OCd to a few locations where i know the owner and knew it wouldnt cause a scene.

By myself I carry OC, if the wife or family is along I CC but don't worry about printing.

I pretty much OC when I'm comfortable doing so. I don't care to in large crowds. Not because I'm worried about offending people or encountering police, but because it's too hard for me to be aware of all the people around me.

I don't like to tuck in my shirts. I carry OWB and if it shows, it shows.

I'm not going to go out of my way to OC.

I OC out of apathy more than anything. I like my OWB and from time to time I want to tuck in my shirt. I'm not "more willing" based on those factors. If I feel like it I'll do it but it's not a huge deal either way.

I am a back and forther. I don't advocate for people to do one or the other. Personally I do whatever is comfortable, goes with my attire, or is best for where I am going/whether or not my kids will be along and I feel I will have good situational awareness etc. (kids are a huge distraction you know) I don't think I would change what I am doing now. I do like being able to OC without a hassle and truthfully I don't think it's as big a deal as some really think it is. My husband FREAKED out about the idea of my OCing at our local walmart. I have done it a number of times now...even with his knowledge...and never an incident. People are in there shopping, not looking to see if I have my pistol showing. (I am talking about shopping w/o the kids) I know there are other factors people argue about OC and that's fine. Whatever. The nice thing is that it's a PERSONAL CHOICE. You carry yours and I'll carry mine.

Same here ... I'm a "baggy t-shirt" type so OCing really is a pain to be honest but on that same note I'm not going to worry about it if it "slips out"
