    Default Genin got a dremel.

    After taking the step and stippling my own guns and some for others, I decided the next step was actually getting a dremel and trying some modifications I've wanted to do.

    I tried my hand at slightly relieving the trigger guard to give my middle finger more clearance and then I did a minor area for my weak hand index. I stippled the areas after polishing them. Then I did a half moon cut to allow me easier mag ripping (only ever had one mag stuck, but wanted to do this ever since).

    Here's how it turned out. Let me know what you think:

    Probably one of the most useful power tools you can have. 9 times out of ten when I think I need my drill I end up with the Dremel.

    Bought an extra one at a yard sale this year so I can keep one in my tool box for work.

    Nice work on the Glock.

    I typically use mine for small intricate work, so I opted for the cordless Dremel Stylus. It rocks.

    It looks like this;

    And you hold it like this;

    Thank you for the compliments on the stippling guys. I use a little soldering iron I got from Walmart and a very fine tip. I made a video to show how I do that specific style of stippling when people had requested it before.

    The stippling looks great, but I wouldn't risk free-handing a dremel to cut my frame. I'd rather put the gun in a drilling vise and use an end mill on my drill press.

    That's probably a much better idea lol. I went extremely slow and followed designated lines I drew after measuring many times with a sharpie. A little bit at a time goes a long way. It's easy to take material off, and you can't put it back on.
