Re: Carrying to doctors appointment?
Just left the dentist's office for a filling. Been there several times in the past 2 months, cleanings, etc.
Open carry every visit, no issues. I see them glancing at it from time to time. Noteworthy : my dentist lives in Pikesville, MD where such things are illegal and unheard of.
I like this dentist.
This post doesn't relate closely to the OP, but thought I would throw it out there anyway. While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

Re: Carrying to doctors appointment?
I have no interest in sharing any information with my doctor that is not directly related to a known health issue. Electronic records are now mandatory and the federal government has already made two failed attempts to get them handed over en mass. It's inevitable that they'll take them and basically have our doctors monitoring us. I'm also concerned that as doctors increasingly act as agents of the government under the current healthcare law, and the obvious direction it is intended to move over time, that there's going to be a lot of "See Something Say Something" encouraging doctors to find reasons to report on firearm owners or even play a part in making them prohibited.

Re: Carrying to doctors appointment?
I've carried to my doctor, my dentist, urgent care, kids pediatrician, wife's specialist for her CTS surgery...no issues. Couple questions but no real adverse reactions, more curiosity than anything. Would I carry if I was going in for an MRI or some situation where I knew it would not be on me? Probably not. For cold and flu type things, sure, why not.

Re: Carrying to doctors appointment?
I wouldn't mind at all if someone carried to my office. Hell I might find a new shooting/hunting buddy.
I was kinda surprised when I realized just how many other dentists i know belong to the club I joined last year hahaI'm faster than Doc Holliday (with Novocaine of course)

Re: Carrying to doctors appointment?
Why would anyone carry a gun into the doctor's office if they know they are getting undressed? Really? It's not that serious people. Leave it in your car.
