I'm having a difficult time imagining the muzzle blast from a 50 BMG with an 18" barrel...

For that price, spend a little more and buy a Serbu 50 BMG. Also be careful firing the mag fed version, if you limp fire it you might eat the magazine and that's the reason why Serbu never made a mag fed version of his bolt rifles.

I bought one several months ago. It's very nice but I have never fired it because I don't have glass for it LOL
Kinda sad, really. Well, as soon as I scrape together some money it's at the top of my list.
