Sig P220 compact
I am thinking about picking one of these up. I have always wanted a P220 but it is a bit big to carry in the warmer months. I have a glock 20 that I carry in the cooler months. i was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on the P220 Compact, more specifically the SAS version.

I don't own specifically what you're considering, but I do own both a P239 SAS and a P220 Carry SAO. Both are excellent guns, and the P220 Compact would fall somewhere between the two. The dehorned edges and SRT kit on the SAS models are key for CC IMO. (although the addition of the SRT kit does make the trigger less crisp) If you have big hands, I would consider stepping up in grip size to the Carry model. The difference in grip length is similar to the 239 vs the 220 Carry:
