Default Help me decide, 1911 grips

A talented friend use to produce grips from various woods/metals and brought over a big bag of grips for me to use on my compact. I've narrowed it down to two types, but I'm having a hard time deciding which one I like more. What do you think?

    Option A:

    or Option B:

    I'm leaning towards option B

Another shot of the grips he made (excluding the alumagrips and horgue ones beside those). Mostly compacts except for 4 full size and one KAHR grip. The full size grips made from ebony are gorgeous.

Holy crap that's a lot of grips. I'd say B as well.

You can only see one side of the gun at a time so I say mix and match. I may be commiting 1911 blasphemy but I like both.

I'm leaning towards B, but I keep going back to A since the color of B seems rather common today on 1911's.

Maybe I'll two grip like suggested... jokingly

i say b without a doubt, though i really like the looks of the green/dark brown with horizontal ball cuts in the bottom row at the center of the multi grip pic. id ask how much but i have no compact frame 1911s.

get both and switch back and forth as you get bored with the look.

So B is on there, had to fit it slightly as the RIA compact has a square plunger tube. Option A I might shelf in case I change my mind later.

I just posted some pictures of them on the compact in the Gun Pictures forum.

    Thanks guys.

Neither. The gray ones in the bottom left might be cool and the dark ones next to option A (left). He have any P226 or BHP grips layin around?

Sorry no. And those two grips are not made by him, one is aluma-grips and the other are horgue laminates.
