Re: F.I. Industries of Washington DC
I myself have a F.I Model D .380. From what I read this weapon was originally made with Colt, 100 model were made, containing the letters CPA in the serial number. Colt backed out and the weapons where ten picked up by someone else. From what I've read if it has a CPA contained in the first three letter-number combo of the .380, you have 1 in 100. I have visited a shop in SC (where I was stationed for four years) and no one seems to have ever heard of F.I. (Firearms International). There is a difference between my .380, then the one that was posted. I haven't been able to find anything else on how much these .380's are worth, being that they are rare, however I am sure if you were able to find a weapons shop that actually knows their weapons they may be able to tell you what they are worth. However, from what I've learned there are no spare parts for this weapon....directed to the question about extra mags.
