Kimber Solo
I can get a stainless steel Kimber Solo for $699 out the door new. Are they worth it? I've wanted one, and of course, right after spending money on an AR pistol build and a CZ-52, a Kimber comes up. Is it worth the money - I see them going for a lot more on GB, etc.. Do I jump on it, decisions, decisions !

Re: Kimber Solo
This thread is a little old, but it may give you some insight. Unless it was strictly for carry, I don't think I'd go this way, but that is just me. I do like Kimber products, BTW, and it may be that Kimber has these things sorted out.

Re: Kimber Solo
When I first saw them I wanted one bad. Then I was at shydas and held one and thought it was very heavy. Kinda defeated the purpose of a pocket pistol for me. It felt great but was heavy. I'll stick with my tupperware.

Re: Kimber Solo
17 ozs didn't seem that bad? but i've yet to hold one. i just don't know - i definitly don't "need" it - but then again, that usually doesn't weigh into my decision, it's more a "want" thing. I already have a springfield xds, kahr k9, sig 238, ruger lcp, blah, blah, blah, so don't need it for a carry gun, it just seemed like a nice little piece. i have read the link that 300wm posted - thanks - wonder if these latest rounds have all the bugs worked out????
