Re: Heidelberg Sportsman’s Association Multi Gun Shoot
Does anyone have more information on this match or its rules? My son and his friend are interested. My son is 16 and his friend is 14. We're wondering what the age requirements are.
Anyone have any info?

Re: Heidelberg Sportsman’s Association Multi Gun Shoot
Thanks to everyone on squad 1 that bailed early and not only didn't help tear down, but didn't help tape or reset for most of the last stage either!
Anyway, here is some video of stage 1, 2 and 4 (forgot to run the camera for stage 3). Thanks to everyone who helped put on this match. Will there be a November event?

Re: Heidelberg Sportsman’s Association Multi Gun Shoot
ok thanks, can't make that one. I'll try to get out to 2 or 3 next year again. (this match conflicts with a USPSA match which is a much shorter drive for me so it's a tough decision which one to attend).

Re: Heidelberg Sportsman’s Association Multi Gun Shoot
Well, I was one of a few that had to bail early...It was my 15yo daughters first formal dance and I HAD to be there (I was her "photographer" for the day). It was a much larger than anticipated turnout and the squads were larger than normal. I have a 45 minute drive home and had no choice but to unload all my weapons due to going onto school property. Many of my daughters' friends and parents know that I shoot and own multiple guns....due to a messy on going divorce, I wasn't taking ANY chances.
I have been doing these shoots for three years now and either come early to help with set up or stay after for a few minutes to tear down. Sometimes life gets in the way though...
I also overheard another convo in our squad of someone having to go to a wedding....just saying that there is more to it than meets the eye...
To further compound things there were indeed some new shooters in our squad that I don't think quite knew what to do...although several shouts that WERE made of "we need tapers" should have cleared that up!
It was a great day overall and it's always fun meeting new people that share our enthusiasm for our sport!
