    Default Carried into the gunshow.

I was curious to day I carried into the Valley Forge show. When the attendant asked me if I had any side arms I simply said "NO". I saw the sign the said "No Laded Firearms", but I thought to myself it is my right. I just wanted peoples feelings on did I truly do anything wrong?

When injustice becomes law, rebellion becomes duty!

    Go yuo.

Unless convention centers are bound by some kind of law, it is merely a policy. They could have kicked you out, if you refuse to leave, they could arrest you for trespassing if they decide to really get into it.

So long as no body knows about it & there are no ADs....I see no problem.

I was there yesterday but left mine in my vehicle locked in a COM locked steel case that cable locks to the seat rail. I didn't want the hassel of unloading & having my piece zip tied.

Concealed is concealed except where forbidden by law.

Always carry into the show as well. There's just something wrong with disarming people at a gun show. haha!

But it's for safety. And it's for the children.
Safety is a good tool for tyrants; no one can be against safety.

I carry in all the shows, too, but there is some utility in a no loaded firearms policy.

Think about all the retards you see in there waving guns around, holding them up to the light, messing with the action, dry firing, etc.

Now realize that you're trusting your life to the fact that whoever handed them the gun in the first place unloaded it -- because most of the gun handling I see at gun shows is outrageously unsafe.

Now realize that at least 25% of the time when asking to handle a weapon at a gunshow the dealer will not open the action to confirm its condition before handing it over. Handle enough used guns and you'll run into one that, in the words of the owner is "Definitely unloaded," but has had a live cartridge somehow miracled into it while nobody was looking.

Now realize that these same idiots are the ones most likely to be playing show and tell with their new carry gun.

If these idiots don't display safe gun handling with guns that probably aren't loaded, I don't want them handling guns that are likely loaded.

At a minimum a "no loaded guns" policy or a safety-tie policy ensures that people will be nervous about getting booted for carrying and will, thus, be much less likely to mess around with a loaded carry gun. They're trying to "get away with" carrying in a show. They're not going to advertise the fact by pulling a gun to let a friend or dealer play with it.

I think that's the real point behind the policy. Well, that and insurance coverage.
