Re: Sig Sauer P226 magazines?
I know I'm reviving an old thread here but I do have a few .40 / .357 Sig P226 mags unused if anyone is interested. I sold the pistol last month.

Re: Sig Sauer P226 magazines?
As mentioned earlier, for almost any decent firearm, Mec-Gar mags are the way to go. They make OEM mags for over 50 different models. CDNN Investments are a superb supplier with excellent prices; even better if you get on their email list as they often have sales with minimum shipping cost thrown in.
Personally I stay away from National, US Mag, especially Triple K and any other "el cheapo" providers. AN occasional one from these "makers" will work, usually you simply throw them away in frustration. Most problems with semi-autos can be traced back to cheap, ill made magazines. Dave_n

Re: Sig Sauer P226 magazines?
I just ordered from midwayusa.com, they allow back order and expect them to arrive 1/25/13.
I looked everywhere they are sold out. This was for P226 9mm 15 round. They were $41 each.Politicians who fear the people seek to disarm them.
People who fear their government's intentions refuse to be disarmed.

Re: Sig Sauer P226 magazines?
Go for the Mec-Gar mags. They used to make the mags for Sig and are GTG.
They offer a flush fit 18rd mag (awesome), back ordered but expected in the same as the other mag mentioned above. Also available is a 20rd mag, basically an 18 rounder with a +2 base plate. Back ordered but expecting shipment on 1/3/13.

Thoroughly recommend Greg Cote. Have been buying from him for a couple of years. Good prices and excellent customer service. Dave_n

Re: Sig Sauer P226 magazines?
I bought 2x Mecgar mags just as the scare/panic started from Midway. Everyone was to busy buying the Glock mags.
Last Friday I stopped in at a small local gun shop. Browsed around to see what was left over and saw they had 1 P226 18rnd Mecgar mag left...needless to say, I bought it. Check your local small gun shops. The same place also had 1 AR, 3 AKs, AK mags, and Mini-14 Mags.
