New Member at Milton Grove
I joined Milton Grove Sportsmen's club last night. I finally have a place to shoot in PA! It only took me almost 4 months!

Re: New Member at Milton Grove
Anybody going to be out at Milton Grove tomorrow? I could use some help getting started shooting clay birds. If nothing else I'll get to try out my new trigger job on the M&P.

Show up at the monthly meeting with a check or money order and fill out a new member index card and you're pretty much in. Send them an email through their site with any questions. They usually respond with a day or two.

I was just looking at this range. Do you know if they are friendly to "shooters" and not just hunters?
I assume so since it appears you can shoot NFA firearms as long as you carry your paperwork with you.

Yeah I was planning on joining at the meeting Friday but couldn't make it. Oh well, no shooting till Christmas I guess.

Great, I plan to attend the next meeting and join. I just purchased a Smith 617 and 686+ and they need a workout.

Yep - lots of AR15 and AK-type rifles are regularly used on the range. I've used a Browning 1919a4 and tripod numerous times there - never got complaints and I usually allow other members try it out. However, PSP was called in the past for someone making too much noise shooting a 50cal BMG chambered rifle b/c it upset the neighbors. At the member induction meeting, a board member (Terry F.) asked us not to fire .50cal BMG at the range. Why do people fearing guns call persons with guns (cops) when threatened?
