Buying a long gun online.
Is it legal/possible to buy a rifle online and have it shipped to my home without going through an FFL ? I realize it needs to go to an FFL if its a handgun, but was wondering about the long guns. Thanks for any info.

On line purchases of long guns must be transferred through an FFL dealer.

If your purchasing a rifle from another PA resident (private sale) you can have it shipped directly to your residence. Out of state purchases (or from a FFL) need to go through a FFL.

The only place you can buy and not need to go through an FFL is if you buy from CMP.
