Re: porcupines in pike county?
Yup, they are here... Had a friend hit one, had the quils in the tire to prove it. Tire didnt go flat but man it was something to see they were stuck in the sidewall.

Re: porcupines in pike county?
A couple of years ago the Pike County Dispatch had a picture of a baby porcupine on the cover. It had a soup can stuck on it's head. I've seen road kill porcupine in both Wayne and Pike counties.

Re: porcupines in pike county?
A co-worker in my office lives a bit north of Waymart in Wayne Co. He's actually had to have two porcupines trapped and relocated because they kept eating the lower course of logs on his log home.
We've had them in our back yard here in Gouldsboro.
Fishers in Gouldsboro? AWESOME!!!! I hope they open this area to trapping them soon. I know several people in the Thornhurst-Madisonville area that have been having fishers raising hell the past year or so. Taking poultry. Taking pets. I even know one woman that had one growling at her and her grandson in their yard.Sed ego sum homo indomitus

Friend of Mine owns a 46 Acres in Bushkill, we were cutting Fire Wood up on the hill and saw a Fisher. Pretty neat I was born here and lived here my whole life, first time I ever seen one.
I have seen a few Porcupines around here, (Not Alot). Saw 2 Bobcat my whole life.
Saw probably 4 Bear this year, Usually see more.
Thanks Giving Night I got a Bear........................With my sisters Car. Just gave him a little nudge, Kinda bumped him out of the way.
