New(ish) Pistol Range in Philadelphia

Hello!

We would like to announce that the old Colosimo's range in Philadelphia is under new ownership and we will be opening the indoor range to the public Friday, September 22th.

The hours will be from 11am-8pm. To use the range you must be in no later than 7:00pm. Range use with a pistol will cost $15/hr and each additional person will cost $10/hr for the first hour, subsequent hours are measured in $5 per half hour increments.

We will permit a limited amount of rifle use with 5.56, 7.62x39, .30-30, and other similarly powered cartridges. No steel core (M855 included), AP, tracer, etc. ammo allowed

We have a selection of reasonably priced ammo, targets and some guns to rent.

We will have a website, but has some issues that need to be ironed out before we make it public.

We will also start accepting memberships after we get things flowing. We are looking to accommodate old members as well. Tentatively; a basic annual membership will be around $150 and members will get discounts for range use, ammo, etc.

What about bring my own ammo and targets? I buy a lot of both in bulk quantities is there going to be any additional fees for that?

You can use your own targets; of course we would like you to purchase ours.

We will allow you to use your own ammo with a few restrictions. We would prefer that you use jacketed or plated ammo for heath and cleanliness. We have an armored back-stop and as a result we must ban steel cored (M855, etc.) and restrict steel jacketed ammo. The two exceptions that we do permit are Russian made pistol ammo and 7.62x39mm. Absolutely no steel-cased 5.56/.223 ammo.

Hows the parking situation?

We have parking on Percy St. It is ok morning, and it greatly improves after all the city workers start to leave in the afternoon.
