Re: New(ish) Pistol Range in Philadelphia
i think you're overly generous with the adult child family membership. i rather see a membership level where i can bring guests for free.
with your adult family membership, Father, Mother 2 adult sons and a daughter all get memberships, no incentive for them to get their own.
with a membership level that allows free guests, not only do i get to bring different shooters into your range, but you also get an opportunity to sign them up to membership. this would also allow someone to bring their adult child under guest, but doesn't give that child a membership.
for me cost of membership is not the primary factor, it's safety, bringing my own ammo, staff then cost.

Re: New(ish) Pistol Range in Philadelphia
This is awesome news. I live at Broad & Girard and haven't been able to shoot very often because there are no ranges nearby. 10th & Spring Garden is a 5 minute bike ride for me.

Re: New(ish) Pistol Range in Philadelphia
I agree, went there to shoot yesterday and they're very helpful. They gave me a tour of the range and you can bring your own ammo. I'll probably just buy it from them as their prices for range ammo is very reasonable; saves me the trip to the suburb walmarts.

Re: New(ish) Pistol Range in Philadelphia
Did the require frangible rounds for your AR? I bought another AR and haven't been able to shoot it yet (had it for like 3+ weeks) because I can't make it out to an outdoor range and can't afford frangible at $10+ a 20rd box lol. I'd love to head over there today if I could as I have a few hundred rounds of P-Tac here.
Thanks!

Re: New(ish) Pistol Range in Philadelphia
It was pmc bronze but it was still 10 per 20 and 30 an hour which is a little pricey. I just wanted to shoot. My first time shooting my first AR. The guys there were top notch IMO.

Re: New(ish) Pistol Range in Philadelphia
I learned about the range from this website. I went there today for the first time and I had a great experience. I decided to finally join PAFOA (after lurking for a while lol) to give this place a good review. An employee I think his name was Ulrey or Urree or something like that was very helpful and friendly and he gave me some great pointers.

Re: New(ish) Pistol Range in Philadelphia
I'll probably go check it out at some point, but some of the policies are suspect.
