M&P Shield at any shop around?

I have stopped at several shops in the area a few weeks ago and I couldn't find one. Even tried Cabela's and they told me they can't keep in stock longer then a day. I don't even know if I will like it.... I just want to see it and hold it in person to see if I like the feel and functions. I think I've found and checked out just about everything on my list but that.

That's a bit up there from the Lehigh valley. But thanks...maybe a call and if it's there a good ride on the bike would make the trip better!

What do you mean that it's not for sale? Why would a gun shop have a current production item and not want to sell it?

Maybe so his customers can come in see if it fits them then if it does order them one since they are hard to keep in stock.

I was going to tell counter guy at Cabelas they should do that if its that hot of an item. I know I'm not going to blindly order something I never handled but if I held it, and liked it, I would probably have purchased something that day. Its the last item on my list to check out and if I like it I would put my order since it seems like forever to wait for them. And if I didn't like it, I probably woulda purchased something else that day because they had the next few on my list. This is a smart cat IMO.. and when demand slows, they can sell that one.
