On the fence about doing a short barrel rifle or shotgun build. Will be my first one. Wondering if anyone has any experience with getting a LEO signature for a form 1. I would rather do this than go through with making a trust. thanks

Sheriff Muller signed for my SBS a few years ago. I took a photocopy of my ID and my LTCF with me, as well as a short letter I typed explaining why I was there. I assumed that I would have to leave the stuff and come back. Suprisingly, he was available and signed it. He only asked what I wanted a 12" shotgun for and was done signing before I finished answering. I think he made a copy of the Form 1 after he signed it as well.
