    Default Smith&Wesson Governor

Took me awhile but I finally bought one,and I am very pleased to say the least.

Here is a pic of the Gov. and a test pattern that was fired with 6-rounds of the federal 410 2-1/2 inch '000' buckshot ammo

Don't show pictures and say you like it. Now I'm gonna want one too! Congratulations on your new gun and your good shooting!

OK so Taurus markets the judge, the S&W comes out with the governor, what's next the Ruger President? Hope it has a picture of Teddy Roosevelt on it.

"Judge" & "Governor" ~~aren't those the folks that determine/sign executions...imagine the fun the prosecuting att'y would have with those

Got the Taurus version of this revolver. It makes a great rat exterminator and down here in So. FL, rat exterminator business is booming. Had to put a set of ear muffs in the barn 'cause the thing is a little noisy, and if your barn is like mine and not well lit, the flash will leave you like you looked at the sun for a split second. Rats love the 000 shot, or they love to hate it???
BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

When the NFA is done away with though I doubt very many would be sold due to recoil (.410 recoil is pretty stout as is)

    Thanks BTW

Pattern is a bit left of POA but that was my fault more than the fault of the gun.

I would like to add this for any that would like to purchase the S&W Governor

Using Winchester PDX-1 410 ammo is just a waste of money as well as time, and has too much recoil to be useful in a handgun,it is just an expensive gimmick that should be shelved A.S.A.P.

Stick with the standard loads of .45LC,.45ACP,and .410 2-1/2 inch federal '000'
