Sig 2022 - what do you think?
I have a chance to purchase a Sig 2022 in like new shape for $350. Is it a good price? What are the polymer Sigs like - stick to all metal or go for it? Pelase let me know.

Great ergonomics and trigger (if you like DA/SA), reliable, accurate... go for it.
I do like the look and feel of an all-metal gun, but for half the price, the SP2022 is functionally just as good as the classic SIGs. In fact, the steel slide on steel guide rails is arguably more durable that steel-on-alloy construction.
Go for it.

Do a search on here for the Sig 2022 , but type in Sigpro 2022 instead lots of recent posts on here about that Gun including my own.

I don't even like the 2022 and I would probably buy one for $350. I mean... shit...
Although you can get a CZ PO7 Duty for about $400 online. No. I changed my mind. I wouldn't buy the 2022 used for $350. I would buy the CZ for $400 new.
If you genuinely believe the 2022 trigger is great. Please sit down on the toilet when you try the CZ's... because you will crap your pants.Last edited by Asmodeus6; September 14th, 2012 at 03:05 AM.

I am very interested in P07 Duty, but finding one in the local stores is not so easy. I mainly get my weapons at Surprlus City... Eventualy it will get there and in my possesion for sure.

I have one, I like it. No failures yet after about 400 rounds through it.

I also think the CZ P-07 is pure sex. That gun has the best factory DA/SA trigger I've felt. EVER

Re: Sig 2022 - what do you think?
Yup. It's SA is crazy good out of the box. And its not a fluke, I've held 2-3 different ones at stores and they are all just insanely nice. I thought my FNP 45 had a nice DA/SA trigger until I pulled the CZ's. For the $. The P07 is crazy nice for a $400 gun.
I have fired a 2022 in 40 and the trigger was not wonderful. Its very mechanical in DA. SA wasn't bad. Grip frame is awesome though. But overall build quality isn't what you'd expect from a sig. Machine marks left inside the slide etc. I wasn't wowed. Albeit they are an inexpensive SIG. I think the CZ is more attractive in its "lower price point" gun.
