No problem; punishing people might be a bit harsh; issuing infractions I suppose is the technical term which sounds less intimidating.

I'm an admin on a large EMS forum. Trust me, I understand how you feel. I've thought about stepping down when I didn't agree with other members of the team, but thus far, I've stuck it out. I'm glad you're sticking around, though... you've always had good points.

Hey Dan, CR, et al: Have you considered a "Forum Staff Emeritus" or the like title? This would serve two purposes - it would explain older posts where a former mod said something "mod-ish", and it would also recognize the time and effort these folks put into the site.

I just became a victim of this policy for posting breaking news about the U.S ambassador getting killed.. I received a warning for the post not being gun related. My first warning since becoming a member here.
