Ruger Mark III Hunter - Range Report
I just got back from shooting my new Mark III Hunter at French Creek Outfitters this afternoon. This was the first trip to the range with this gun and I'd heard these pistols can be picky with ammo and sometimes do not work well until broken in with a few hundred rounds.
I'm happy to report that I fired nearly 400 rounds without a single failure of any sort. I'd brought 6 different brands of .22lr with me (all copper jacketed stuff) and the Hunter ate it all without a complaint. I'm impressed with the accuracy too. The gun came with a rail and I may have to add a scope or red-dot eventually.
I don't usually shoot much .22 so it was odd for me to have so much fun and think that I only spent about $20 on all the ammo

Re: Ruger Mark III Hunter - Range Report
the things i like about rugers are that you will never wear it out and they usually shoot real nice. try some targer ammo in it, you will be suprised on how good it shoots.. you got to love those 22s.....
