need help am i able to procure a firearm ?in research status

Hello I'm new here .I have done tons of Google searches and got too many results .
I'm trying to get my ltcf and get a hand gun .
I have a record ,here's what I have ..
All this happened in to in 2006 .
All of these are the final dipostions and withhold of adjudication
reduced petit theft statue 812.014 m1
Simple battery statue 784.031 1A1 m1
Trespass after warning statue 810.09 m1
Vop m1 from the battey charge statue 948.06

Long story short I was in fl and got into a fight with my girlfriends father and that's where it happened ..
Now I'm 27 have a 6year old and have a great job for 5 years and haven't gotten into any type of trouble what so ever

What I've done so far ,
I have applied for a hand gun and I'm now in research status since Sept 5th 2012.
Have not heard anything since then .
Today I applied for my ltcf and got put in research status .

I've checked all my charges and they don't hit against me procuring a permit nor a handgun .
My question am I waisting my time ,or get approved and do I have the right to the 2nd amendment.
What are my options ,what are my odds.

No they are not , I googled each one for max 1 year or less

it was a simple battery not with family ,nothing to do with domestic violence ,unless I missed something ..
Good they don't give me a undecided status . Is there anything I can do while I'm waiting on them to check my record .

Yes you are correct .
That was for the battery as stated there I was arrested 2 times .
1 for tresspassing and for the battey .I was release and left to nj ,and I was stupid enough to pawn what he said was his and got the petit theft m1 that was a reduced convition ,that was the second time

Got the call in today payer 20 bucks and receive my ltcf ,only 3days
