Have you tried keeping it lubricated?

I understand, perhaps a light coat of quality oil will inhibit the rust...that how I reduce/eliminate rust on my car. I assume that this firearm isn't being kept in a basement?

no she's not I carry her every day... Should I oil the one spot in the magwell and under the trigger guard? thats the only 2 places that had tiny bit of rust.

Every inch of my pistols and rifles are oiled. I am not suggesting putting a layer of oil on it and leaving it be but rather wipe it down with an oiled cloth...I'd let some of the veterans chime in. You posted this pretty late in the night, I'm sure others have encountered the problem...though I see zero downside to what I offered.

Kano Kroil will do the trick but again, I'd like you to get some feedback from others.

I always wipe down my guns with one of these after I'm done cleaning it. It keeps it looking good and helps to keep it from rusting.
