RIP Jay Bell My prayers go out to the family. We lost a great member of this forum and a great friend to all of us.

Re: Forum Member and Moderator JayBell has passed away
I met Jay years ago at various tac carbine shoots at Easton. On 9/11 I went to the range after the second plane hit the towers and found Jay and Phil shooting as well. Jay was one of the good guys, loved his "subguns" license plate on his car. While I never made the select fire investment, his collection inspired many SBR builds and can purchases.
This is indeed a bummer, but Jay is in a better place. He will be rightfully missed by many.I may be out of the Marine Corps but the Marine Corps is in me for life.

I always knew where Jay stood on an issue. He never beat around the bush. Damn shame, 43 is way too soon. Very sad to hear.
RIP, Jay.......I love the smell of gunpowder in the morning.[
