Default GLock Night Sight install in LV

Hi all, I am looking to get night sights installed on a Glock 19. Anyone know if any of the LGS in the area install them while you wait?

    Thanks

    Joe

Buy them from Rich at American Sport Shooting in Easton. I'm pretty sure he will install them for you. He did for me.

Note: It says Broadheadsville but he moved the shop to Easton

Thumbs up Re: GLock Night Sight install in LV

    It is VERY easy.

I installed XS Big Dot sights on my G26 years ago.

The front uses a simple tool that most sights include.

The rear is drifted into the slot in the slide.

For the rear, I used the poly dowel that came with the sight and a big friggin MALLET to literally smash the sight into place. SMASH. I totally went full on caveman on it.

That was 6 years ago and the sight is dead on to this day. A true testament to the ruggedness of a Glock slide, the XS sights and my stupidity.

I'm not saying you should smash it on with a mallet. But, it is not complicated at all and you can do it yourself in 10 minutes using a basic sight drift or c-clamp.
So this is how liberty dies...with thunderous applause.

I would never recommend using a mallet and dowel to install a night sight to anyone. You lucked out by not damaging the tritium vial inside when whacking it. A sight pusher is the way to go.

Topton put mine in real quick and quoted me at 6 bucks so it was cheaper than the tool.
