Youngsville VFD Gun Show

The Youngsville Vol Fire Dept will be holding its annual gun show Sept. 8-9 2012. Public is invited. Location is 222 East Main St., one block north of US 6 west of Warren. The fire hall is visible from US 6. Watch for the electronic sign.

Show times are Sept. 8th 9am to 4pm Sept 9th 9am to 3 pm

Admission is $5.00 per person, children under 12 free when accompanied by an adult.

How is it? Was thinking of driving home to see my family who still live in Youngsville....

Between 70 and 120 tables depending on the number of vendors. A typical small PA firehall show where you never know what will turn up on a table or walking in the door.

There will NOT be dealers with crates and crates of bulk ammo in any imaginable flavor. Nor will there be dealers with a huge selection of holsters to fit any possible customer's desire.

Most of the tableholders are not FFLs, although there will be at least one FFL present (River Valley Surplus from Ridgway) with a selection of new and used long guns and handguns and some quantities of ammo. Most tableholders will have used rifles, scopes, some reloading supplies/equipment, etc.

If you are already coming home to visit family, by all means spend the $5 and a hour or so. If you are using the show as a reason to make that drive, I'd tell you to go to the show in Harrisburg instead.
