    Question Pike Township Sportsman Association

I'm looking to join a range when i come back to Pa in Nov. mainly want to see if anyone here is a member that could sign me up. Also the rules posted on the site say no semi-automatic weapons, both of mine are semi (ar-15 and Sig Pro) so a little confused with that unless its just a typo.. any help will be appreciated.

It's no Typo do yourself a favor and never spend a dime at Pikeville. They will not let you shoot any Semi auto weapon. I dropped out there years ago when they instituted there "Semi auto gun ban" IMO if you suppot that type of organization, you support gun control. The place is ran by a buch of Dumb Dutchmen who have ran the place into the ground!

Since you live in Exeter why not join University Rifle club?

i was thinking about it since it's pretty cheap and i like literally 20 second from there but i'd have to wait through 3 meeting just to find out if i've been accepted into the club

Pretty much a "Fudd" mentality as far as the range goes.
They may not say anything about using semi's as long as you're not just blasting away.
People shooting up the poles that support the backstops is the reason for the "no semi" rule.
Also, NO human silhouette targets-"Fudd" mentality again. "This is a hunting club, not a police range".
If I were you you I would look into Oley Valley Fish & Game. It is probably closer to you and has less restrictions and isn't right along the road either.
Pikeville is a good social club, but I don't shoot there and have been a member for 20+ yrs.
    Any other ? PM me.

I dropped my Pikeville membership last year. It isn't a place to shoot it's a place to drink and socialize. I did like feeding the fish that were there though.
Let's not forget there are still species of tropical penguins living in the Galapagos.
