Default Mental illness - the new gun control.

Marine involuntarily committed for Facebook comments. This is scary stuff. There's an in-depth article at The Blaze.

Welcome to the new gun control. We'll send you away to get your mind right, and then we'll take away your guns. Same for soldiers that seek treatment for PTSD. All you people with an irrational freedom fetish, your time is coming. One step closer to the USSR.

There was a bill out there a couple of years ago about drugs kids take for adhd. If you take them as a kid you cant own a firearm when your an adult.

I dont think it went anywhere but i'm sure its stuck in the ob0z0 care law somewhere.

I'm sure that's coming someday. The anti's aren't getting anywhere in leveraging the Denver shooting for more gun control, but they'll sure be pushing the mental illness angle. They'll demagogue it hard - after all, who could possibly be in favor of letting mentally ill people have guns?

While we're at it, let's create some more thought crimes, more environmental laws, etc. Make everyone a criminal, like the guy who was arrested for collecting rainwater on his property. Once everyone is a criminal or mentally ill, then there will be no more guns!
