    Default 45 ACP Glock

Why can't Glock make a 45 compact? Same size as the 19. Something I'm missing?

It's called the Glock 36. Its pretty close in size to the 19 as far as I know.

The Glock 30 is closer to the 19. The Glock 36 is closer in size to a 26, but is single stack capacity.

    Here is a 19 and 30 together

I have a g30 and g19. The handle on the g30 is slightly shorter, the slide lengths are about the same, and the g30 has a thicker grip.

Sorry, I am new to Glock and thought the G30 was a lot smaller than that. I was not liking the stubby grip. I'll have to find one in a shop.

G30 is real comfortable in the SF form for me. .......The Gen 4 30 is out but is sketchy in terms of availability

I'd also like to add the recoil is very mangeable for a .45 and I find the g30 to be highly accurate. .....just saying

I think I'm mostly looking for my next buy. I'm perfectly happy with the 19 but who can argue with the 45 lol. I just made the switch to Glock recently 9 and 10 so I'd like a45 as well. I want to stick to a single platform for carry. I shoot well with Glocks. I just wish the grip handle was a little longer.

    Thanks for your input guys.

Try the GLOCK 30 SF & you can use GLOCK 21 Mags w/ Spacer if you like a longer Grip. fwiw

Bus, I believe the glock website lists both the 30 and 36 as subcompacts, the 36 as the "slim" subcompact. Neither have the usual dimensions of such described design.
Call it what you will, still nice firearms.
