Default Accu Wedge Buffer For AR-15

Came across this today. Wondering if it's a legitimate product or a solution in search of a problem?

The fit between the upper and lower receivers of a AR has absolutely NOTHING to do with accuracy of the rifle. Don't waste your money.

It's not to help accuracy, at least that's not what I think it's for. I my upper and lower didn't fit perfectly and had play I would get this so it doesn't have play.

Until they split in half and fall into the FCG, rendering your AR useless. Don't buy into it.

This is what that silly little wedge is best at.

I put one in my AR and forgot about it. I dont know how many rounds it took to come loose but it did. The wedge wound up in the lower reciever preventing the hammer from dropping. When i found it I threw it right out. Ill never buy another and wont suggest any one else do so either!

Before any one ask's, yes it was correctly installed. Maybe it was a fluke that it came out I dont know!

I figured this was the case. It was my understanding that play between the upper and lower did not effect accuracy.

They don't really do anything, but if a snug fit makes you feel better about shooting I guess it could be a good investment. Consider that you are introducing foreign material into your receiver, though.

Any time you can get rid of something very annoying with very little effort, its a good thing.

I'm happy with my accuwedge and thats all that matters.

Did someone say something about soup?............... Poof and the problem is gone.
