Some genius in my unit bought a whole bunch of these during a deployment some years back. A lot of people took the bait, and there were numerous instances of the Accu-Wedge splitting down the middle vertically, dislodging, and falling down underneath and into the FCG area. A real pain in the ass to get out without removing the trigger. Needless to say, they were soon banned from use. This may not be common in controlled environments, but I believe the high heat and low humidity in the desert lead to the rubber drying out and cracking. There's no such thing as a free lunch.

Please Note: The poster was issued an infraction for this post.
Warning
Research scientists at the Mayo Clinic today announced that Alphabet Soup causes colon cancer in young adolescent rats.
The research scientists tried plugging the rats colon with Accuwedges to isolate the cancer but the young adolescent rat died spewing small pieces Accuwedge. The research scientists are unsure at this time how the small pieces of Accuwedge became lodged in the rats mouth causing its death.

Re: Accu Wedge Buffer For AR-15
Actually I had to drop this posting to your maturity level to make sure you understood it.
Did you miss the part where I said the Army Marksmanship Unit Armourers tightened up the uppers and lowers on their ARs used in compitition and epoxy bed the uppers and lowers creating a binding fit.
The Accuwedge also creates a binding fit..............
And YOU want me to take your word on the subject.
Have a nice day kid

And I am supposed to take your word? The guy who said Fulton Armory doesn't sell the accucrap? And:
What happened to me being on ignore? So you put me on ignore, take me off, put me back on again, and then take me off? After you made a point to show everyone just how committed you were to ignoring me? AWESOME!
That makes you the "winner" LOL

You didn't answer the part about the Army Marksmanship Unit Armourers tightened up the uppers and lowers on their ARs used in competition and epoxy bedding the uppers and lowers creating a binding fit. You were too busy trying to be funny kid.
Be quick kid my popcorn is getting cold.
