AR mag pouches, move this if its in the wrong area please.
At one point I saw a ar15 mag pouch that held 3 mags , flat, 1 mag per pouch. I cannot find it now, nor any mag pouches that lay flat, anyone know what they are called? They would be for a belt/web gear, not a vest.

Is this what you are trying to find? The link may not be the exact one but I'm not sure what you mean by flat/1 mag per pouch.

Tactical Assault gear makes great stuff. I use some of their mag pouches at work. This is what I use: http://www.tacticalassaultgearstore....dmagpouch.aspx

get this!!!
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ls_o00_s00_i01
Its blackhawk and only $55. It says it holds 4 mags, but I just got mine and it easily holds 8. Dont worry though the mags are still very secure if you only want to put in 4. 8 is a lot of weight. I usually put 5 or 6 total in mine. It also holds 2 pistol mags.
I strongly recommend this rig!!!! Fully adjustable straps to get the required fit. Low profile enough to conceal under a jacket or wear a heavy bug out bag with it.
Edit sorry realized this isnt what you are looking for!!! It is still very nice though..
On the other hand Condor makes a lot of single/double molle mag pouches that may be what you need. Check out http://www.condoroutdoor.com/Last edited by JW1914; August 12th, 2012 at 11:11 AM.
