    Smile Just submitted for LTCF

I am new to the forum and gun ownership (soon to be gun ownership). Reading some of the posts on the board everyone here seems to be pretty knowledgeable. I just submitted the application for LTCF and figuring this will take a few weeks to receive my LTCF. I am wondering what should be my first firearm. I have a few weeks and welcome any suggestions. I am currently looking at a Ruger P95 it looks solid, reliable, and price is not so bad. I am looking for a 9mm. Again any suggestions for a first timer is welcome. Thanks for welcoming me here I look forward to the extensive knowledge you guys have.

Pretty soon someone is gonna come along and ask some questions... what do you want it for (purpose), what do you expect it to do... stuff like that. Then someone is gonna suggest you take a firearms course of suitable type ( something which matches the reason you want a gun. Then someone is gonna ask if you intend to carry concealed (indicating a need for the LCTF) and several people will join that conversation.

In short, you haven't provided enough information to start a discussion.
